Invited by Dr Muhammad Ejaz Qureshi, Honorary Associate Professor, Fenner School of Environment & Society at the Australian National University to be a guest presenter in the Capability Building Program that was hosted by the University of Agriculture (Faisalabad-Pakistan) to discuss the “The Future of Education in the Age of AI and Digital Transformation”, reflecting on the opportunities and challenges AI and GenAI presents for education and giving insights into how universities can proactively respond to these disruptions, with examples of what is currently being done at the University of Canberra. The presentation was highly commended and selected for re-delivery at the event’s Closing Ceremony that was attended by the Vice Chancellor of UAF, Professor Dr Zulfiqar Ali; the Chairman of the Pakistan Higher Education Commission (PHEC), Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan; as well as UAF and international academics, HDR students, and other members of the university community.
