Dr Abu Barkat Ullah served as an external examiner for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) thesis titled “Cybersecurity Governance Framework for Board Directors” at the University of Technology Sydney in 2024.
The doctoral research examined governance frameworks for cybersecurity oversight at board level, addressing strategic risk management, organisational accountability, and executive-level cyber resilience.
In this capacity, Dr Abu Barkat Ullah provided an independent expert evaluation of the doctoral research and submitted a formal examination report, contributing to maintaining national standards of research excellence in cybersecurity governance and risk management.
