The conference focuses on ‘The importance of attachment and respectful relationships in nurturing a foundation of resilience across the lifespan’. The conference will dive into the neurobiology of behaviour and social engagement, information that can be applied to trauma, autism, learning difficulties, oppositional and other maladaptive type behaviours, and sensory processing difficulties. Through understanding these links and impacts, it is hoped that information generated from these talks will be able to help those working with children, adolescents, adults and communities that could benefits from this research and discussion (Extra Lesson 2016).
