    Description

I participated as a panel speaker at the Cyber Security Conference Canberra 2025, contributing to a session on “Project DFNDR: Adaptive Cyber Security for Defence & Critical Infrastructure SMEs.”

During the panel, I presented insights from the DFNDR project, focusing on the application of AI and machine learning for cyber threat detection, threat intelligence, and Security Operations Centre (SOC)-based countermeasure strategies. The discussion highlighted approaches to strengthening cyber resilience for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operating within defence and critical infrastructure sectors.

The panel brought together experts from academia and industry, including representatives from Cybermerc and Ionize, to discuss collaborative approaches to addressing evolving cyber threats and enhancing national cyber capability.
