Dr Abu Barkat Ullah served as an assessor for the PhD Confirmation of Candidature seminar titled “MASSec: A Distributed Multi-Agent System for Zero-Day Detection” at the University of Canberra (Faculty of Science and Technology) in November 2025.
In this role, Dr Abu Barkat Ullah conducted a critical evaluation of the candidate’s research proposal, literature review, theoretical framework, methodology, feasibility study, and research plan. Detailed feedback was provided to strengthen the research gap articulation, theoretical grounding of the distributed multi-agent system (DMAS) architecture, methodological rigor, feasibility analysis, and doctoral-level academic writing standards.
The assessment contributed to research quality assurance and milestone progression within the PhD program.
