I invited Emma Blazevski, one of our HR students at the University of Canberra, to speak about different aspects of sustainable employment relationships in the Australian Public Service.

Emma began her federal government career in 2023 and has since gained HR experience across several APS agencies, including Infrastructure, Defence, the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, and the Fair Work Commission. Her roles have covered administration, graduate programs, recruitment, and HR generalist support. She is passionate about people, organisational culture, employee experience, and healthy workplaces, with a particular interest in organisational behaviour. She also draws on her background in communications, combining HR and communication skills to support positive workplace experiences.
