Breaking misconceptions: Rediscovering the essence of women's leadership

Description

As an academic with a deep interest in women's leadership, especially in the context of Indonesian society, I explore the often-misunderstood dynamics of gender roles and leadership, drawing on both personal experiences and wider societal observations.

In this op-ed, I challenge traditional perceptions and highlight the need for a more inclusive understanding of leadership qualities, transcending gender stereotypes. By sharing insights from my journey and empirical evidence, I aim to inspire a re-evaluation of leadership norms and advocate for greater recognition of women's capabilities in leadership roles.
