'Carpegeddon': plan to wipe out carp could hit native fish too

    Concerns have been raised that a plan to reduce carp numbers dramatically in the Murray-Darling Basin through an introduced virus could cause a 'blackwater' event, and possibly harm more than just carp.

    But those behind the plan insist that the risks can be managed.
