Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Hezbollah is weaker than it has been in years, as the IDF continues to pound southern Beirut and engage in skirmishes in southern Lebanon. The German army reserves’ former lieutenant colonel Sascha-Dominik Dov Bachmann says Israel has been successful in degrading Hezbollah’s military capabilities and leadership and the militant group appears to need a respite from fighting.
