Biography
Allyson is a physiotherapist, researcher and lecturer with a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation. Her current research focuses on ways to provide sustainable physiotherapy and increase physical activity for people living with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease and stroke. She has extensive clinical experience working with people with Parkinson’s disease, including setting up the University of Canberra Student Led Neurological Physiotherapy Clinic. She is also a founding member of the UC Clinical Research Rehablilitation and Translation group.
