Personal profile

Biography

Lecturer | Health Psychology | Physical Activity Researcher

My research focuses on the psychological, behavioural, and social factors that shape health and wellbeing. I am particularly interested in physical activity promotion, physical literacy, mental health and women's health, with a strong emphasis on translating research into practical interventions and public health impact.

I work across disciplines to understand how we can create environments, programs, and messages that support people to find purpose in movement, move more, and maintain health across the lifespan. My work includes the development and evaluation of interventions such as Running for Resilience, alongside research examining physical activity, wellbeing, and the lived experiences of women managing health conditions such as endometriosis.

I am passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, impactful teaching, and producing research that makes a meaningful difference beyond academia.
