Dr. Hossein Tabatabaei is a dedicated professional with a diverse background spanning the fields of medicine, cognitive neuroscience, and mental health research. He holds an MD in Medicine from Iran University of Medical Science and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Australian National University. Hossein's multifaceted academic foundation enriches his pursuit of understanding the intricate workings of the human mind and brain.

Having spent several years practicing as an Addiction Specialist, he has acquired hands-on experience in a crucial area of healthcare. This experience has provided him with a profound understanding of the intricate interplay between brain function and behaviours associated with addiction. His involvement in this field has also allowed him to delve into the intricate neurobiology of craving.

His fascination with understanding the dynamic interaction between the brain and behavior guided him to embark on his PhD journey, exploring the neurobiology of Alzheimer's disease and its early clinical stage, Mild Cognitive Impairment.

Beyond his PhD research in the neurobiology of Alzheimer's, his curiosity extends to the broader domain of mental health. Driven by a genuine passion, he delves into exploring the environmental indicators that influence aging and mental health issues, showcasing a comprehensive approach to understanding these complex challenges.
