Dr Jenny Fu is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at the University of Canberra. She has taught Corporate Law, Contract Law, Business Law and the Law of Financial Services to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and has received University awards recognising her teaching excellence. Dr Fu also supervises PhD students in these areas.

Jenny obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Legal Studies from the University of Canberra, and a PhD in Law from the Australian National University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English) from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Jenny’s research focuses primarily on comparative corporate law and insolvency law. She has regularly published in these areas in Australian, Chinese and international law journals, and has presented her research at national and international conferences.

In addition to her expertise in Australian corporate and commercial law, Jenny has developed substantial expertise in Chinese law, including company law, contract law and civil procedure, through five years of experience as a Legal Research Officer with the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress of China before moving to Australia. She further strengthened this expertise through her work on a two-year Australian Research Council-funded project on corporate governance in China's top 100 listed companies led by the late Professor Roman Tomasic.

Dr Jenny Fu has provided expert reports/opinions in civil proceedings before courts in both Australia and China.
