Biography
Dr. Jingyi Shao is a Research Fellow in Environmental Health and Climate Risk Assessment at the HEAL Global Research Centre, Health Research Institute, University of Canberra. Her PhD research explored the long-term health effects of early life exposure to fire smoke emissions in children. She is currently involved in projects assessing active travel policies, and evaluating the health impacts of extreme temperatures and air pollution in the context of climate change. Dr. Shao has extensive experience in environmental epidemiology, health impact assessment and policy evaluation. Her research interests include bushfires, extreme weather events, air pollution exposure, public health and transport policy.
