Dr Kerry Hampton is an academic nurse and midwife and a clinical nurse specialist in fertility awareness education.  

She is a lecturer in primary care and other foundational units in the Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery (BNM). In her teaching roles she develops curriculum, managed teaching teams, and provides student academic support. 

Kerry is an active researcher. Her main research interests are in women’s health, family planning, primary care, infertility, and knowledge translation for evidence-based practice. She has co-supervised several higher degree research (HDR) students through to the successful completion of their courses and is an examiner of research projects by HDR students.

In her clinical field, she has been an invited Teaching Associate in the Graduate Diploma of Reproductive Science, Monash University, since 2005, and an invited guest lecturer at Sexual Health Victoria since 2003. Kerry is the lead author and presenter of the Comprehensive Course in Natural Fertility Education^©, an endorsed professional development course by the Australian College of Midwives (ACM), which is recognized in Australia and New Zealand and other countries across the world.
