Biography
Dr Coffee is a later career academic after senior roles in State and Local Government and has been involved in the application of GIS to population, urban, social and health for more than 30 years. His career includes consulting, local/state government and academia and his work has spanned urban/economic and social geography, urban planning, population health, the impact of the built environment on physical activity and obesity, developing socio-economic GIS databases and the use and adaptation of government collected and maintained administrative data for social and health research, pioneering the integration of GIS into government systems and population modeling.
