Biography

Sitti has a PhD in the uses of the Internet for teacher professional development and mathematics teaching and learning. She was previously a Research Fellow with the Research Institute for Professional Practice Learning and Education (RIPPLE) in 2013-2014, a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School of Education at the University of Witswatersrand, South Africa in 2011-2012, and Lecturer (State University Surabaya). Sitti has worked as a teacher trainer for in-service and pre-service teachers from Indonesia and South East Asia, and as a consultant in mathematics education. She has worked on research projects in collaboration with the World Bank and is currently undertaking a three-year project funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to promote mathematics education in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
