Professor Tania Broadley is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) for the University of Canberra where she provides strategic direction for the advancement, development and improvement of the student learning experience. This role offers leadership and responsibility across business units including Learning & Teaching, CareersUC, Library & Study Skills and Student Life. Her research interests are concentrated in the areas of initial teacher education, educational technology, online learning and professional learning. Tania is known nationally for her contribution to the Building Resilience in Teacher Education (BRiTE) project where she worked with esteemed colleagues to develop evidence based online modules to develop pre-service teachers capacity for resilience in Australia. Tania was a member of the AITSL National Teaching Performance Assessment (TPA) Expert Advisory Group and foundational member of the QTPA development team at QUT. She has served as State President of the Australian College of Educators (ACE), a national Board member of the ACE and a Board member of the Open Universities Australia.  She currently serves as a non-executive Director on the University of Canberra College board.
