Biography
Tim Murphy is lecturer in the discipline of Vision Science and Optometry at the University of Canberra. Tim's research interests include eye tracking, artificial intelligence in healthcare, diabetic retinopathy, and medical education. Tim received his software engineering degree from the Australian National University in 2010, with honours in artificial intelligence. He then completed his optometry studies at Deakin University in 2018, followed by a PhD at the School of Medicine at Deakin University looking into improving diabetic retinopathy screening performance using eye tracking.
