Biography

Dr Lewis is a Clinical Psychologist and academic at the University of Canberra where she specialises in the treatment of people with body image issues and eating disorders. She runs a private Clinical Psychology Practice in Canberra. She regularly speaks to the media for the University of Canberra on clinical psychology related topics and supervises Honours, Masters and PhD students. Dr Lewis has written two books (Positive Bodies: Loving The Skin You’re In; No Body’s Perfect) to help children, young people and adults who experience body image issues. She is currently writing her third book, through Australian Academic Press, to assist health professionals working with people with eating disorders.
