Best Paper Award – 14th EAI International Wireless Internet Conference (WiCON 2021)

Barkat Ullah Abu S.S.M. was a co-recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 14th EAI International Wireless Internet Conference (WiCON 2021), held online on 9 November 2021 (Orillia, Canada).

The award was presented for the paper titled:

“Faking Smart Industry: A Honeypot-driven approach for exploring Cyber Security Threat Landscape.”

The research proposed a honeypot-driven methodology to analyse cyber security threat behaviours targeting smart industry environments, contributing novel insights into threat landscape exploration and defensive strategy development.

The award recognises the quality, originality, and impact of the research among international submissions presented at the conference.
