Project Details
Description
We aim to develop recommendations for local governments to apply when selecting public buildings to use as safer air havens during smoke episodes. To investigate:
1)Whether there are key generalisable building characteristics that better protect the public during smoke episodes
2)Levels of smoke indoors and outdoors during a smoke episode in a designated safer air haven
3)Barriers and enablers to the identification and use of safer air havens
4)How local governments can be supported to identify suitable public buildings to use as safer air havens.
