    Project Details

    Description

This project aims to further develop an artificial intelligence for ultra-low radiation x-ray imaging (referred as "the x-ray AI solution" in the following) to get the product to TRL 6. The x-ray AI solution is designed to improve the quality of x-ray images produced at ultra-low radiation exposures. It aims to reduce patient radiation exposures by 60% or more, which is equivalent to minimum 60% reduction of cancer risks due to ionising radiation exposures. This will save more than 3000 Australians dying from x-ray imaging induced cancers every year or 30,000 Australian in the next decade.
