Description
This investigation of news and media in Asia will provide journalists,
policymakers and communication professionals with valuable
information and ideas about audiences, news infrastructures, and
policy frameworks. We have designed a comprehensive program of
work to address an urgent need for analysis of the state of the
media industries in Asia. This will be the first multi-site comparative
study of news media industries, policy frameworks and news
consumption in the Asian region. Its innovative research design is
underpinned by robust, proven and independent comparative
analysis methodologies into digital media consumption that can
yield real impact for journalism, industry and government.
