Description
The objectives of the Collaboration are to answer the research questions:
Can a simulation-based package of learning (Talk with Ted):
• be an effective technique to support health care students to improve their knowledge and understanding about dementia,
• change attitudes about people living with dementia,
• improve perceived communication skills with people with dementia and,
• influence the likelihood of choosing dementia as an area of practice?
The intended outcomes of the Collaboration are:
• to answer the research questions listed above
• to disseminate the results to Dementia Australia, in a peer reviewed journal article and/or a conference presentation
