Description
Classical integrable equations in continuous as well as discrete space-time appear in various problems of mathematical physics and pure and applied mathematics. This proposal aims at the development of advanced mathematical methods suitable for analysis of a large set of classical integrable systems. The methods will lead to a consistent quantization of classical theories and to a new understanding of quantum aspects of modern mathematics. The project will bring together world leading experts from Australia, Germany and Poland to resolve fundamental problems in the field and to strengthen Australia's leading international profile in the theory of integrable systems and related areas.
