Description
This project aims to quantify and map the existing capacity of urban food production and associated knowledge and food usage in the ACT to assist addressing barriers and enablers of healthy and sustainable local food systems. We have codesigned and trialled a mobile online survey and mapping tool with community groups involved in food production and food sharing in Canberra. Multiple options for weight and volume estimation have been developed to make inclusive of a range of skill levels. We are now ready to collect data through citizen science as broadly as possible recognising some limitations in reaching all ethnicities.
