Develop, pilot test and implement across the entire Murray-Darling Basin, a reach-scale river type 'taxonomy' system that is inclusive of floodplains

The Sustainable Rivers Audit (SRA) is a program to systematically assess the river health across the Murray-Darling Basin by collecting information in a consistent way across a range of indicators. This information is then audited by an independent team of expert ecologists. The SRA uses reference condition as a way of assessing river health. The Audit will report on condition and trajectory compared to reference
