Project Details

Description

This research aims to make a scientific contribution by investigating traditional Indigenous food production practices that have developed over thousands of years in challenging environments. This investigation will yield a knowledge base that can be leveraged to formulate place-based, inclusive community-led planning for climate change across the region. By doing so, it will provide insights into co-design methods that can be used in collaboration with community members, to respect their knowledge and enhance food security outcomes without jeopardizing important socio-cultural elements of their way of life.
