Digital media and women in West Papuan tribal life

The research project being scoped by Dr Lee will focus on the impact digital media has on West Papuan tribal life - particularly in respect to women. For example, 'Sugar Daddy Apps' on mobile phone has potential to disrupt tribal norms. It will be an unique pilot study which has potential to garner interest from other Melanesian regions (PNG, Vanuatu, Fiji, Solomon Islands).
