Early Career Researcher Support Grant application 2007 - Ting Wang

This grant will be used to advance my ongoing research in educational leadership and international education. My PhD research explored the impact of an UC transnational program upon the Chinese educational leaders' learning experiences and development. I am currently undertaking two subsequent pieces of research. The first is examining the effect of transnational education upon Australian academics and in particular addresses the challenge of sustaining academic teaching offshore. The second is investigating international research students' pedagogical needs and challenges in thesis writing. This grant and teaching relief will support me to continue the research, collect and analyse data, and write publications related to the findings.
