Project Details
Description
Whilst Aboriginal communities in the north and west of the Eastern Arrernte region in central Australia have been well researched, the communities to the east have been largely overlooked. There has been little recording of the oral histories of the elders in these communities even though some have achieved international art status. This project concerns the preparation of a linkage grant to seek four doctoral scholarships to undertake fieldwork to recrod the histories of Eastern Arrernte individuals.
