Description
The aim of this project is to acquire knowledge about (1) the prevalence of first aid training among drivers in the ACT; (2) the incidence of being a bystander and of providing first aid at traffic crashes; (3) the range of first aid skill being utilised in this situation; (4) the motivation to intervene as a bystander; and (5) the preceived impact of first aid training on the risks people take in road traffic. The project will survey a large sample of drivers within the ACT and provide comprehensive Australian data to address these questions.
