Project Details
Description
The closures of schools and childcare services, physical distancing measures, and the suspension of community programs in response to COVID-19 has negatively impacted the early childhood education sector and families who rely upon these services. Equipping educators with evidence-based pedagogy to meaningfully support the learning, connectedness, and wellbeing of children in their care, in addition to their own wellbeing, in times of increased uncertainty and crises is of high need. This project aims to significantly build the wellbeing education capacity of Canberra’s largest provider of children’s services, Communites@Work, via a professional learning initiative on giving for meaningful wellbeing and resilience.
