Impact of climate change on flow and temperature regimes – effects on alpine freshwater ecosystems

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Support for Rebecca Killalea, PhD student at the University of Canberra, to study the impact of both flow reduction and temperature increase on alpine freshwater ecosystems using the stream mesocosms component of the Australian Mountain Research Facility (RMRF) for a total cost of $24,000.

This proposal is a result of Andrew Brooks (NSW Department of Primary Industry and Environment) becoming aware of Rebecca Kilalea's PhD research. He then offer to provide funding.
