Project Details
Description
Spelling is a cornerstone of literacy, yet becoming proficient in spelling takes time and is largely influenced by the quality of instruction one receives. While effective instruction must be informed by valid and reliable diagnostic assessment data, current spelling assessments fail to provide the kind of feedback that is needed to enhance student learning in spelling. This project involves the transforming a paper-based assessment resource (originating from Tessa's PhD) into a digital format. The quick and easy-to-use resource generates comprehensive customised reports with instructional recommendations that can be used to develop fundamental literacy skills required for success in life. Participation in the program will help me to undertake customer validation.
