Project Details
Description
This Category 2 funded project builds on the action research track record of the Play, Creativity and Wellbeing Project (see Haig Park Activations and Ginninderry Living Lab Open, Green and Play Space) for the use of creative placemaking, asset based community development and creative and cultural development to build community and transform people and place outcomes.
The Play Activation Network is an external cross-sector network of 70 members (coordinated by the Play, Creativity and Wellbeing Project within the CCCR) who seek to undertake collaborative interdisciplinary projects that contribute to wellbeing and vibrancy in the ACT. This funding opportunity contributes to the Faculty's current suite of Creative Industries Research Projects by positioning the Faculty as a source of job opportunities and income for the creative industries during the post 2020 COVID recovery period, and thus as a Faculty which has impact through its action research.
