Project Details
Description
Boosting the number of South Australian farmers captured in the Regional Wellbeing Survey 2024 sample, so that findings are more representative of South Australian farmers and sub-analyses can be rigorously completed. At present, SA farmers currently only represent 6.7% of the Regional Wellbeing Survey farmer sample, while being 11.6% of farmers nationwide according to 2021 ABS data. This is due to previous investment by NSW, Victorian and Qld organisations in increasing the farmer samples in those states. Once Investing off investment in recruiting a larger SA sample will have flow on benefits for many years as once recruited into the survey, participants are encouraged to continue participating each year.
