Social and Cultural Context of Terrorism (PostDoctoral Research Fellowship)

A range of actions are being undertaken Australia wide in an effort to deal with the perceived threat of terrorism. Presently, various areas within the DSTO are involved in a variety of activities ranging from surveillance and intelligence issues to operation analysis of CT Exercises. As yet, the cultural aspects of these issues would not have appeared to have received significant amounts of attention. Thus, it would seem that opportunities exist to explore these dimensions further.
