The development of an AI-powered screening tool for childhood speech disorders

The project will develop an AI-powered screening tool for childhood speech disorders. The University of Canberra's role, via Jacqui McKechnie, will be to support the validation of the tool in ACT and regional NSW settings. UC will contribute clinical speech pathology expertise and local school, clinic and community networks to support stakeholder engagement, participant recruitment, deployment and testing of the screening tool at UC-associated sites, and collection of usability, feedback and performance data.
