Project Details
Description
The impacts of climate change are joining poverty and population growth as inter-linked factors increasingly threatening human well-being in the Pacific Islands. This project aims to investigate the potential for human mobility to provide holistic solutions to this new nexus of development challenges. Policy analysis and in-depth case study research should then feed into the creation of a conceptual framework to support the integration of novel forms of mobility with climate change adaptation and development goals, policy and practice. This should provide significant contributions to shaping more sustainable futures for Pacific Island populations.
