This project aims is to improve the robustness and effectiveness of our environmental water management strategies under a variable and changing climate. The project expects to advance methods for examining climate change risks to environmental objectives; use innovative approaches to integrated and dynamic modelling of environmental management decisions over a multi-year time-frame; and improve characterisation of ecological resilience and thresholds to support the assessment of system vulnerabilities. This should maximise the benefit from public investment in environmental water and ultimately lead to greater sustainability and health of our rivers and the human activities that rely on them.
