Description

This is a proposal to conduct research into efforts by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to influence the 2020 Taiwanese national election which will be held next January. The work will be carried out at National Sun Yat-sen University in the Institute of Politics, working in collaboratively with Dr. Titus Chen, an associate professor and one of Taiwan’s leading academic researchers on PRC propaganda. The proposed length of time for the fellowship will be four months, commencing in early January and continuing through early May 2020.
