Abstract
This conversation was held in mid-2022 to commemorate John E King’s 75th birthday and honour the many contributions he has made in Australia to the history of economic thought (See the earlier tribute by Michael Schneider (2013) for more about his career). As well as being a prolific contributor, John has been either editor or an editorial board member of the History of Economics Review since 1994
