Abstract

PURPOSE: To determine and characterize the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and sympathoadrenal (SA) system response to repeated bouts of downhill running (DHR) and examine potential protective physiological adaptions from a repeated bout effect.
