Abstract
The construction industry is highly fragmented by nature when it comes to the adoption of technological advancements. Singapore is heavy reliance on foreign labour for the construction industry makes it susceptible to labour supply disruptions. It needs to back up the physical workforce with Construction 4.0 technological advancements. This research explores organizational resilience in terms of the adoption of Construction 4.0 technologies. There is a scarcity of literature that investigates the influence of Construction 4.0 technologies on organizational resilience in the construction sector. This research enhances existing theory by developing a framework that expands the understanding of organizational resilience to the adoption of Construction 4.0 technologies. The framework aims to investigate operational sustainability and resilience to improve organizational competencies. It explores how People, Process, Policy, Culture, Data and Technology can contribute to organizational resilience through a conceptual framework developed based on the exploration of grey academic literature.
