Abstract
This textbook starts with an introduction (Chapter 1) and then splits into two main parts: hypothesis testing and estimation.
In Chapter 1, the problems of hypothesis testing and estimation are explained with examples. The general framework of statistical decision theory is presented with Bayes, minimax and other approaches to solving problems.
