    Abstract

Puzzling and paradoxical, Steiner education in the current academic context appears both to charm enough the creative characteristics of its approach and to confront through its tendency towards insularity and other wordiness. The unbridged gap between the esoteric nature of Steiner`s philosophy and the strongly esoteric underpinnings of modern science, the academy and social policy ushers in an element of tension when the two worlds meet.
