Abstract
This Report was commissioned by Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) to provide a summary and independent analysis of the five masterplans designed by four design consultant teams for the Better Suburbs five whole of suburb play reviews. The purpose of this Report is to provide:
1. A background to the whole of suburb play reviews
2. A tabular summary of each of the five masterplans that identifies:
• existing and proposed playground sites
• existing assets at each playground site
• proposed assets at each playground site
• reason for proposed assets
3. Analysis of each of the five masterplans against the 6 play space priority principles of the Better Suburbs Play Space Forum
4. Recommendations for any changes that ensure the Masterplans meet the play space priority principles
