Abstract

The connections between food and space are complex. Through the consideration of research work by staff and students from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Design, this chapter questions what it means to build and cook intelligently today in the face of issues such as climate change, rapid urbanisation and migration, environmental damage and resource depletion, health, disappearing heritage, and rising inequality.
